Romantic beach wedding for Fish Leong

A TEARY-EYED Fish Leong said “I do” at a romantic beach wedding held in Boracay Island in the Philippines on Monday.

According to Chinese dailies, the Taiwan-based Malaysian songbird tied the knot with her fiance Tony Zhao during the ceremony, which started at 4.30pm.

The wedding was planned by Zhao.

China Press reported that the beach wedding was witnessed by 50 relatives and friends from Malaysia, Taiwan, the United States, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

The bride was surprised when a yacht, bearing the names of Leong and Zhao on the sail, moored near the beach.

Taiwanese popular record producer, singer, and songwriter Jonathan Lee was invited to be Leong’s witness to the marriage.

The daily added that Leong and Zhao had arrived at the six-star Discovery Shores Hotel on Jan 30 to prepare for their wedding.

The bride and bridegroom stayed in a luxury honeymoon suite that costs about RM2,000(S$827) per night and spent about RM210,000(S$86,835) on the reception.
