Actress Lin Chiling's luggage ransacked

TAIWANESE supermodel-turned-actress Lin Chiling, who was here with Jay Chou to promote their latest movie The Treasure Hunter, lost some personal items which she had kept in her luggage when flying to Kuala Lumpur, reported several Chinese dailies.

Lin had travelled from Beijing to KL International Airport on Dec 20 with film director Kevin Chu and Chou on China Airlines flight CA971.

They arrived after 10pm and waited for an hour to collect their luggage. At her hotel, she realised that her luggage had been tampered with.

She lost a Longines watch and some jewellery worth about RM20,000 ($9,000).

The matter has also been confirmed by RAM Entertainment. Lin did not disclose the theft during interviews with the local media but it was reported in Taiwan.
