Beauty aficionados rejoice: Celebrated Japanese skincare brand DHC has landed on the shores of Singapore.
DHC, Japan's top direct mail skincare company, has been creating high quality products based on the natural benefits of olive oil for the past 29 years.
Its olive oil is extracted from handpicked organic Spanish olives and then carefully filtered under laboratory conditions in Japan to remove potential pre-clogging impurities.The result? A product that helps to help skin absorb and hold moisture without clogging pores.
DHC products are also made with ultra pure water and are free from fragrances and colouring agents, which help to ensure a product that will not irritate skin.
Its signature range comprises the Olive Essentials Set, which has been created around its 4-step skincare ceremony. The four core products include:
· Cleansing oil ($42) - A botanical cleansing oil that gently protects skin while effectively dissolving make up - even waterproof mascara - and dirt. The water-soluble formula, which contains beauty essences, also helps to unclog pores.
· Mild soap ($26.50) - Combining a unique blend of olive virgin oil and honey, it cleases without stripping skin of its natural moisture.
· Mild lotion ($52.50) - This gentle astringent toning lotion with cucumber extracts rich in vitamins is said to calm and refresh skin while providing a perfect moisture balance.
· Olive virgin oil ($69.50) - This luxurious oil - which is its star product - is obtained from the first few drops gathered before the first press of organically grown handpicked young olives. It is suitable also for blemish-prone and sensitive skin.
Other DHC products to be launched progressively includes those from its acne, whitening, anti-aging, suncare and men's ranges. There will also be other offerings - like health supplements - from January 2010.
DHC will be exclusively available at selected Watsons stores.
