Olive leaves are chockful of goodness

While we know that olive oil, made from olive fruits, contains a high concentration of monounsaturated fatty acids that are associated with a host of health benefits, there are also health benefits associated with olive leaf extracts.

Olive Leaf Australia’s (OLA®) Olive Leaf Extract (OLE) is the only extract that is obtained from fresh ‘alive’ olive leaves and contains anti-oxidants and Vitamin C that protect against viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. The manufacturer also claims it can treat hypertension, oedema, eczema, psoriasis, colds and flu, sinusitis problems, upper respiratory conditions, asthma and coughs, and improve skin and sleep problems.

To be taken internally, the dose used is 5ml, three times a day, taken with or after meals.

OLA® Olive Leaf Extract is retailed directly by Accendo Healthcare Pte Ltd in Singapore at S$55 (500ml) or 2 for S$89.
