With Singapore's most high-profile wedding of the year happening next month in September, Diva finds out that Fann Wong and Christopher Lee will not be keeping their self-designed bridal jewellery which is worth about S$2.5m.
Diva: what was your inspiration for designing your jewellery?
Fann: I strongly believe in the eternity of love and relationship between Christopher and myself and therefore my jewellery is inspired by the eternal love and romance, as well as the various moments of love shared between us.
Diva: Chris, did you have a say in how Fann's bridal jewellery should look like, and did you design your ring accessory too?
Chris: Fann did all the drawing herself while I helped her recount the various experiences of love we shared so that she is able to translate it into her designs. I designed the ring myself, and it will be stylish and contemporary to complement my wedding suit.
Diva: Can you describe your wedding dress and evening gowns and how the jewellery will match your outfit?
Fann: My wedding gown is by Vera Wang, but my evening gowns will be kept in secret and only revealed on my actual wedding day!
My wedding gown bridal jewellery weighs a spectacular 60 carats and it will definitely make me the most dazzling bride on my wedding day! We're still in midst of planning for my wedding, and the theme will be contemporary and tasteful.
Diva: Will you be keeping your bridal jewellery after the wedding? If not, what will you do with the jewellery?
Fann: We will not be keeping the jewellery after wedding. However we're very happy to know that Goldheart will be giving us a specially-created Celestial jewellery present at a later date - which I'm definitely looking forward to receiving!!
Diva: All couples want their weddings to be memorable for them. How will you make yours memorable for you?
Fann: It will definitely be my entire wedding jewellery that I have personally designed! I am certain my bridal pieces will make me the most sparkling bride on my wedding day!
Chris: I am thrilled that Fann gets to design her own jewellery symbolising our love story, because she is very excited and pleased with this collaboration. It will be memorable for me because Fann gets to immortalise our love with her jewellery collections that she had designed, which demonstrates the intensity of her love for me.
Diva: Where do you plan to go for your honeymoon?
Fann and Chris: We have not decided yet as our schedule is so packed!
