Years of experience: Nine

Claim to fame: Her work has been seen in magazines including Catalog, Female and Elle and she has worked with celebrities including Denise Keller, Michelle Chia and Andrea De Cruz.

My signature make-up style is... doing face and body art. I love drawing whimsical, Chinese-inspired images such as peonies, chrysanthemums, phoenixes and dragons.

My greatest achievement is... being able to travel to cities such as New York, London and Bangkok for work as I feel this is a recognition of my skills and also gives me the chance to experience different work cultures.

I went to London and Bangkok to do the make-up for Crocodile International’s lookbooks last year and was in New York in May to do Sun Ho’s make-up for an editorial shoot.

My three beauty faves are...

  • M.A.C Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder, $46, an easy-to-use pressed powder that is perfect for last-minute touch-ups as it gives your skin a healthy glow.
  • Shu Uemura Face Architect Smoothing Fluid Foundation, $70, a foundation that blends easily and which gives coverage you can build upon. One layer gives light coverage and you can put on up to three layers to get medium coverage.
  • Julie Hewett Persian Rose Mist, $45, from Hide & Seek, which can be used before make-up to soothe sensitive skin and also to freshen up your make-up during the day.
