Reckless Ericka is going global.

The six-month-old Singapore-based label - by Singaporeans Afton Chen and Louis Koh, Indonesian Ruth Marbun and Filipino Diorelle Sy - has made it to the designer directory of cult fashion community Not Just A Label (www.notjustalabel.com).

Started in 2007 by Londoner Stefan Siegal, the website acts as a platform for fashion students and avant garde fashion designers to showcase their works and to network.

Among other things, it allows them to set up virtual showrooms and also lists job vacancies and competitions in the industry.

While anyone can sign up, Siegal and company decide who makes the cut.

In May, Not Just A Label also launched The Shop where one renowned industry figure would handpick and curate pieces to put on sale each month.

Playing host this month is American fashion journalist-cum-blogger and style icon Diane Pernet, who started the annual fashion film festival, A Shaded View On Fashion Film, in Paris last year.

Word has it that Reckless will be making it onto her racks. Bravo.
