Taipei - With a song heralding their new life together, Taiwanese actress Vivian Hsu wed Singapore-based businessman Sean Lee on Sunday in Bali.

The couple performed a song, Till I Met You, in front of some 100 people including family and friends at the grand poolside wedding at Bali's The Edge resort, Apple Daily reported.

He wrote the music and she the lyrics which went, "Till I met you/We Believe/What is destiny."

The 39-year-old Hsu was decked from head to toe in luxury for her wedding to the Indonesian-born Mr Lee, 36, chief executive of Marco Polo Marine.

She wore a white lacy Vera Wang gown and blue-rhinestone-studded Sergio Rossi open-toed high heels. On her head sat a glittery tiara filled with 173 diamonds with a total of 15.54 carats, on her neck and wrist were a diamond necklace and bracelet from her in-laws, and on her finger was a Chaumet wedding ring.

The nuptials held at the resort overlooking the Indian Ocean had blue and white wedding decor with pink accents. Hsu's buddies, including Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin and singer Kei Yasuda, formerly of Japanese idol group Morning Musume, were among the celebrity guests.

Taiwanese singer Wang Szu-han, who was in a 1990s girl music trio with Hsu, was the bridesmaid, while Lee's two daughters from a previous marriage were among the flower girls.

Absent was Hsu's dad, who was ill but who would attend their post-wedding banquet in Taipei next month, said Apple Daily.

On stage, Mr Lee made a pledge to Hsu's mother: "I will let Vivi be happy forever. We will grow old together and be happy forever. Please don't worry."

The couple, said to have started dating in April last year, registered their marriage in Singapore in February.
