GUANGZHOU - In A bizarre twist of fate, a pair of sisters ended up swopping husbands, and both gave birth to a child with each man, Chinese media reported.
Ms Liu Li and Ms Liu Xiang, from Guangzhou, were married to Mr Feng Sheng and Mr Wang Yang respectively, according to Nanfang Dushi Pao.
Younger sister Liu Xiang wed Mr Wang in 2003, and they have a son together. After the wedding, Mr Wang went to work in Shenzhen while Ms Liu Xiang stayed with their child in their hometown.
Ms Liu Li married Mr Feng in 2001, and they, too, have a son. Mr Feng and their son stayed behind while Ms Liu Li went to Shenzhen to work.
Living under the same roof without their partners, Ms Liu Xiang and Mr Feng became close, and had an affair in 2005.
Upset at this turn of events, Ms Liu Li and Mr Wang grew closer.
Finally, both couples divorced and the sisters re-married each other's husbands. Both gave birth to another child.
