Popular actress Rozita Che Wan's upcoming million-ringgit wedding was splashed on the front page of Metro Ahad.

Billed as Malaysia's wedding of the year, the ceremony that would be held at the Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam, and would cost RM1.2mil (S$0.5mil), the newspaper reported.

Citing information obtained from her manager, the report said that the 39-year-old actress and her 29-year-old partner, actor Zain Saidin, would fork out RM300,000 for their wedding while sponsors would chip in RM910,000.

The couple are expected to announce the date of their wedding ceremony soon.

"I am lucky because many parties want contribute to sponsoring my wedding ceremony," Rozita, more popularly known as Che' Ta, was quoted as saying.
