Review: SCO Ace Cream, $90.95
by Eugene Quek

Formulated to soothe and lighten dark spots at the same time, SCO's Ace Cream is a silky, sheer lotion that has been dermatologically tested to be mild enough for sensitive skin on your face and body - even on areas that have just endured "trauma", like your underarms after an IPL session.

Packed with good stuff like licorice root and allantoin - both established whitening alternatives to the industry gold standard hydroquinone - this cream also contains decapeptide-12, an amino acid which halts the production of skin-darkening melanin. Gentle emollients create a protective veil on your skin, so you can go about your business while letting the ingredients work their brightening magic on you.

To use, apply a tiny amount on your areas of concern, massaging it in until it's absorbed. Follow with your regular moisturiser and a good sunscreen - that last step is crucial for preventing dark spots from reoccuring!

SCO Ace Cream, $90.95 for 15ml, is available at all Strip, Browhaus and Spa Esprit outlets. For more information, visit www.spa-esprit.com and follow the brand on Facebook.
