Here’s a skincare oil for all purposes

Here's a fun fact: The skin is the human body's largest organ.

It is often exposed to harsh environmental factors, and though it constantly regenerates itself, proper care is vital.

Over the past 20 years, the Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil by French cosmetics brand Nuxe has become a beauty staple and cult favourite for millions of women around the world.

So much of a favourite, in fact, that one bottle is purchased every six seconds, according to the brand.

The multi-purpose oil, which can be used on the face, body and even hair, has more than its fair share of celebrity devotees, too.

Hollywood A-listers like Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Penelope Cruz and Courteney Cox are all reportedly fans of Nuxe and its products.

Perhaps it's Huile Prodigieuse's Golden Shimmer version, which leaves an iridescent finish to glam up the legs for, say, red-carpet events, which they love.

Nuxe's dry oil is almost completely natural, enriched with vitamin E and free of silicone and preservatives.

It is composed of six plant oils - macadamia, hazelnut, borage, sweet almond, camellia and St John's wort - to help nourish, repair and soften the skin.

Its sunny scent, with notes of orange blossom, rose and vanilla, among others, oozes sweetness and femininity.

And, unlike many other products out there, the oil doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy.

Get the Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil at $68 for 100ml at all Robinsons, John Little and Beauty by Nature stores, as well as selected Watsons, Guardian, BHG, SaSa, Metro and Unity outlets.
