Parisian accessories house, Roger Vivier, known for inventing the modern stiletto heel in 1954, is opening its first South-east Asian boutique in Singapore on Nov 1.
The 968 sq ft store at Takashimaya Shopping Centre will carry a selection of the brand's shoes, handbags and accessories. Those familiar with the label can expect its signature Buckle, Choc and Virgule heels in the store.
The brand was unable to provide pricing information, but Roger Vivier heels typically start from about $700 for a pair of flats and $900 for a pair of heels, according to online retailers.
The brand's creative director, Bruno Frisoni, and French model Ines De La Fressange, who is the brand's ambassador, will be in town for the opening.
