IF there's one bridal services team that Li Jiawei counts on, it is WhiteLink.

After all, boss Kerano Heng and her siblings, who make up her team of stylists, have worked with Jiawei for nearly five years.

Jiawei said: 'Kerano and her sisters have always decked me up for gala events and ceremonies.'

Madam Heng told The New Paper on Sunday: 'We feel like we're marrying off one of our sisters.'

She said it helped that Jiawei trusted their judgment and left the design decisions to them.

There are a total of 13 gowns.

'All of them were created to complement and enhance Jiawei's elegance,' said Madam Heng.

Jiawei's main wedding gown is a stunning piece that has been sewn with nearly 10,000 pieces of Swarovski crystals.

But everyone's top favourite piece has to be the novel pants-bottom gown which is tailored with a Greek theme in mind.

Jiawei said: 'We were a little concerned at first, but the pictures turned out so beautiful. It's really something very different from the usual gowns.'

Madam Heng added: 'Not many brides will be daring enough to try this concept, but we hope with Jiawei taking the lead, we can set off another trend in designs.'

As for the wedding banquets that will be held in Beijing and Singapore, the co-ordination has been left to Ms Nelly Poa from PopStar Media.

Ms Poa, who manages Jiawei's personal affairs, said: 'We should be able to confirm the dates quite soon - the wedding banquet in Beijing will likely be held sometime in late April or early May.'

She added: 'The guest list is expected to be close to 1,000. Among her guests will be acclaimed Chinese director Zhao Benshan.'

But the Singapore banquet, which will follow two weeks later, will be a more intimate affair.

Jiawei has also asked Ms Poa's protege Chen Meixin - also her good friend - to be her bridesmaid.

Meixin, 22, was voted Best Newcomer in The New Paper Flame Awards earlier this year.

Jiawei said: 'I know I can entrust everything to Nelly and WhiteLink, while I concentrate on my training.

'Li Chao and I will just look forward to our bigday.'
