She may be enjoying the media attention and performing in different cities, but Gan Lu Lu said the downside is that she has no time for love.

“Every woman needs a man who loves her,” she said.

“Unfortunately, my work is so busy, I have no time to date.”

Is she worried that her extremely sexy image will scare off potential suitors?

“I don’t think so. There are many sides to me, just that I present my sexier side on stage,” she said.

Gan said she will seriously consider any suitor who comes along.

“Who knows, maybe there will be Singapore men who may be interested to date me?” she said with a laugh.

In the meantime, Gan said she is satisfied being loved by her mother and younger sister Gan Mao Mao and is glad the latter is following in her footsteps.

Mao Mao made her debut in the music video of Gan’s song Loving You last year and made her first public appearance with Gan and their mum on a variety show last November.

Sexy image

For the past six months or so, Mao Mao has been portraying a sexy image similar to that of Gan and they have performed together as well.

“The Japanese media have dubbed her China’s Sora Aoi,” she said, referring to the famous Japanese porn star.

“Although my sister doesn’t do pornography, I feel such a title is still good for her popularity.”

Does she feel threatened by Mao Mao?

“Not at all, I’m very proud of her achievements because I have only one sister, and we’re very close,” she said. “Her success is also something that makes me happy.”

But for now, Gan is still ahead in terms of showbiz achievements.

Last month, she was in Hong Kong to meet the director and producers of the upcoming erotic movie 4D Sex And Zen, but isn’t sure when filming will commence.

“It was a very friendly meeting and the director was very easy-going,” she said. “I think viewers will be pleasantly surprised by my performance in the movie.”
