She may not consider Mike Kasem her idol or worship the ground he walks on.

But she's a big enough fan of his funny antics on radio and TV.

So it was fitting that when she first saw him in person, he was dressed up as the late singer Freddie Mercury from British rock band Queen at last year's Retrolicious concert.

Said physiotherapist Magdalene Tan, 41: "He cracked me up when I saw him in (that) outfit.

"Mike's very pleasing to my eyes and he seems like a fitness buff.

"My ideal mate should be someone I can get along with and Mike has a crazy side, which is important because I'm like that too."

Miss Tan, who married at 19, has three children - two boys and a girl, aged 22, 19 and eight.

She divorced her husband in 2008 because the pair had different lifestyle goals.

She said that she knew what she wanted in life and wasn't willing to compromise on her beliefs.

The single mum feels that men nowadays are too tight with their purse strings. She's a generous person and hopes Kasem shares the same perspective.

Said Miss Tan: "If I meet the right man, I'll be keen to have another child, maybe a girl?"

"I would love to grow old with someone who's naturally a good fit."

"Mike has a crazy side, which is important because I'm like that too."
