Hong Kong actress Cherie Chung is ready to return to the big screen

The paper also reported that Hong Kong actress Cherie Chung, known as the "Marilyn Monroe" of the Hong Kong entertainment industry, is ready to return to the big screen.

Chung had retired from the entertainment scene after she married businessman Michael Chu in 1991.

Chu died in 2007.

"There were a lot of job offers then. But I'm thinking of getting back since everyone thinks I'm not serious about my career," she joked.

To me she tried so hard to impress during her recent concert. Female celebrities should really retire wisely with good investment in money and men.

I am not 'old' enough to know of that rumour :p, at least I knew she did 'fade' away from entertainment scene and stood by the hubby from his illness till death. Btw, have you seen Amy Yip's recent photo? :D

Yes yes ... she is very pretty ... and she is one of my dream wife-to-be during my prime time .... :p

But now I confirm she is not my type anymore ... she has been clinically proven to be barren due to her extensive heavy usage and multiple abortions along her way to fame .... she will neber be able to make babies with me even if she married me .... :(

红姑is back. They should persuade the other poster girl, Vivian Chow, to return to the silver screen as well. Both of them were the fantasy of many males back then.
