Kevin Cheng's rumoured ex-girlfriend Charmaine Sheh has also recently opened up about her love life.

The Hong Kong actress told the media there last month that she gets along well with Cheng, but the timing just isn't right for them.

"I'm busier now than before and he's often (filming) in China too. We don't get the chance to meet," Sheh, 36, said.

"The rumours about us started after we finished filming (TVB's 2008 drama) Forensic Heroes II, and I feel we do get along well.

"But there always seems to be something in our way, stopping us and preventing us from moving forward."

Earlier this month, Sheh told the media in Hong Kong that she has simple requirements for her ideal partner.

She has not been looking for a rich man, she said. Had she been, she would have got married a long time ago.

What she wants is someone she really loves, even if he doesn't love her as much.

Sheh added: "I wouldn't give up my career for a romance in the past, but now I would.

"Everybody wants different things at different ages and phases of their lives. Back then, I was building my career and bank account.

"Romance didn't matter to me, even if (the man) had very good qualities. This was the price I paid (for my career) and I (don't) regret I made the choice."

Sheh revealed it wasn't easy to be her boyfriend then and she let many opportunities slip by.
