UNITED STATES - US Socialite Khloe Kardashian shrugged off criticism about her dress size and unfavourable comparisons to her slimmer sisters, Kim and Kourtney.

The 28-year-old, now a host on The X Factor US, admitted to feeling insecure about her body in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK magazine for its December issue.

"It isn't easy," she said. "My weight fluctuates, like any normal girl, and I have times when I feel insecure.

"So if I come under scrutiny at one of those times, then I might get really down on myself, but the next day, I might be, like... 'I'm so much better than that'."

She added: "Who cares if I'm not a size zero? I don't want to be. I love my body. I'm healthy, I work out.

"I am who I am. I can't do anything about it, and I love who I am."
