Is Singapore singer Stefanie Sun having a baby girl?

Her good friend and Taiwanese songstress Jolin Tsai revealed the baby's gender during her Beijing concert. 

Sun, who is seven months pregnant, appeared in a video segment to offer Tsai her well-wishes and engage in a game of question-and-answer.

Tsai celebrated her birthday at the concert, which is part of her latest Myself World Tour.

According to Chinese media reports, Sun, 34, has yet to publicly announce the baby's gender.

As a result, friends and relatives of Sun have been showering her yet unborn baby with gender-neutral gifts.

In the video segment, Sun asked Tsai various personal questions, like "Who is the most important man in your life", and teased Tsai about her alleged boyfriend, model Vivian Dawson.

Sun asked: "I'm going to deliver soon, when are you getting married?"

To these questions, Jolin hemmed and hawed before replying, but when asked "Is my baby a boy or a girl", Tsai immediately quipped, "A girl!"

Looking pleased with her answer, she added: "Am I right?"

The camera then panned to a red-coloured pram in front of Sun, a gift from Tsai.

According to Lianhe Wanbao, Sun had previously expressed a wish for a daughter "to keep her company".

In May this year, Sun announced through her Weibo micro-blog account that she was pregnant.

The popstar subsequently uploaded a photo of herself, asking readers if they could tell if she was pregnant.

Sun tied the knot with Dutchman Nadim van der Ros, 35, on March 31 last year and held their customary Chinese wedding banquet on May 8.
