FIVE new dating agencies were yesterday accredited by the Social Development Network (SDN) under the SDN Trust Mark, a framework to encourage private dating agencies to enhance standards and service delivery.

The agencies offer a variety of services to singles, including dance classes, travel opportunities and a chance to connect with other singles online.

A total of 11 agencies are currently accredited by the SDN.

Dating websites have come under the spotlight after a 42-year-old man was taken to court earlier this month for raping, sexually assaulting or molesting 22 women he met through an online dating website.
