Cheryl Cole, 29, has reportedly found herself a new boyfriend after her split with her ex-husband, football star Ashley Cole, in 2010.

The British singer and former judge of the UK version of The X Factor first met US dancer Tre Holloway when he appeared with her as she performed on The X Factor live finals in 2010.

Holloway jokingly declared on his Facebook status his modest financial position, compared with her estimated fortune of £12 million (S$23.6 milion), according to The Sun.

He cheekily posted lyrics from the song The Way I Are by US hip-hop producer Timbaland: "I ain't got no money, no car to take you on a date!"

A source said: "It's early days but they are an item...It's going well...they really like each other."
