Schick's new Intuition Naturals razor promises women a moisturise-as-you-shave experience, dispensing the need for aftershave creams or gels.

Being slightly larger than traditional razors, it incorporates a unique conditioning bar that lathers and moisturises when put in contact with water.

Besides being hypo-allergenic and fragrance-free, the conditioning bar also contains Vitamin E and 100 per cent Natural Aloe.

With this added feature, sensitive skin is left less irritated and skin appears softer after shaving, says Schick.

"Being chunkier in size than most shavers, it offers a sturdy grip and the moisturising bar lets the blade glide over the skin smoothly.

"It works well on large, even surfaces but it gets a bit trickier to use on smaller areas. Sometimes the moisturising bar prevents the razor from coming into close contact with the skin, hence the shave is not so clean.

"I'm also concerned that the moisturising bar will wear out before the blade gets blunt, so I'll need to buy the refills more often. Compared to the price of the shaver itself, the refills are a bit pricey as well.

"Still, an innovative idea to break out of the conventional market offerings!"
