Whether it’s exam stress, late nights or savouring that last quart of ice-cream, breakouts are inevitable.

With that in mind, Garnier has introduced the Garnier 2-in-1 Tinted Pimple Roll-On. The roll-on conceals current blemishes and pimples, and has an instant drying effect to help protect against spots before they appear.

The tinted roll-on aims to provide a more permanent solution that both treats and nourishes the skin to keep it free from imperfections.

Garnier develops and uses HerbaSoothe, a natural blueberry extract to boost cell regeneration.

The product is also touted to contain a high concentration of mineral pigments to conceal those spots, but without clogging pores.

Does it work?

The product felt light on the skin, but even though it had a thin liquid consistency, I was surprised at how effective it worked as a concealer.

Just a bit of it was enough to hide those red blemishes and even out the skin-tone.

As promised, it did not seem to clog pores, and I'm not sure if it was my imagination, but the spots on my face did seem to be soothed by day's end.

It also blended well into the skin, providing smooth coverage without the need for a powder finish. 

My only gripe? The roll-on packaging isn't really necessary, as I ended up having to just 'dot' the product on my face anyway, to prevent wastage.
