Woman conned eight hubbies, not seven

The woman who cons men into marriages by pretending to be pregnant before running away with their money, had snared another victim, reported Sin Chew Daily.

A man, who identified himself as Feng, 32, admitted that his brother had also fallen into her trap and that the recent one who reportedly married her in Muar was actually her eighth husband

Feng said his younger brother from Ayer Tawar, Perak, became the seventh victim after getting to know the woman through a pen pal column in a magazine in September 2010.

A month later, he moved into her rented house in Puchong.

He said that after the woman claimed that she was pregnant with twins a few months later, the family planned to have a wedding dinner before Chinese New Year celebration in 2011.

However, Feng said the family felt suspicious after the woman failed to repay them and their friends the profits of their investments that she had promised earlier.

He claimed that more than 10 people had paid up to RM400,000 to the woman as investment for a venture.

Feng said they managed to track the woman down and turned her in to the police in February last year but she was released 10 days later.

The family, he said, had since come under pressure from the other investors as they had banked in their money to the woman via the brother's bank account.

The woman made headlines two years ago after she conned six men into marrying her in traditional Chinese ceremonies by claiming to be pregnant, and running off with the victims and their relatives' money.

The world has not certainly changed at all. History too... Helen of Troy ,Empress Wu and of course Mata Hari. I remember one funny observation regarding men... We come out of a h**e, we fight and toil for the h**e, and finally we are buried in a h**e.RIP.
