Marriage plans for S.H.E singer Selina Jen look to be on track, with the starlet posting bridal photographs and snapshots of her wedding invites online.
 
The 30-year-old Taiwanese artisite, who suffered severe third-degree burns in a filming accident in October last year, had earlier postponed her April wedding indefinitely due to the painful recovery process.  
 
It was announced in March that Selina would be ready to tie the knot with fiancé Richard Chang on Oct 31, but even then, the singer’s father said the date was tentative and dependent on her health.
 
However, wedding bells for Selina are set to ring in Oct, as recent updates on her Facebook and Weibo microblogging accounts now show.
 
Yesterday, she shared her favourite wedding photograph with fans, showing fiancé Zhang on bended knee proposing to her. Last Tuesday, she posted on Facebook two bridal photos taken after the accident, showing her in a $10,000 Vera Wang gown.
 
According to news reports, the photos were taken from specific angles so that Selina’s scars from the accident could not be seen.  
 
Bridal photographs of Selina taken before and after the accident will be combined and incorporated into one wedding album, her record company announced previously.
 
Selina also commented that she was initially worried about not being about to fit into her gown because she had put on weight during her hospital stay, but she was thankful that the tailor only had to alter it by an inch wider.
 
800 wedding invitations – coloured gold and pink, and titled "Diong & Selina” on the front - have been sent yesterday, Selina also said.
 
Because of her support for the environment, Selina added that bamboo fungus will replace the customary shark’s fin dish on her banquet menu.   
 
The menu will be in the form of a limerick where the first word of the 11 sentences, - representing 11 dishes - will read "Zhang Jia Kou Ren Jia Xuan in love forever". Zhang Jia Kou is her Richard’s full Chinese name, and Ren Jia Xuan, Selina’s.  
 
As the big day draws near, Selina said was not going on a diet and added that she would rather be happy and enjoy eating whatever she wants.
 
She also added that she is looking forward to be a "happy bride" in Oct, and has thanked her fans for their support.
 
Playful photos of Selina putting her wedding ring on her pet dog's nose have also been shared by the singer.
