Andy Hui and Sammi Cheng are planning for their big day, a Hong Kong magazine reported.

The couple, who secretly reconciled before the Lunar New Year, plan to get married in August.

Oriental Sunday reported that Sammi had accepted Andy's proposal and the wedding ceremony would be held in Provence, France.

Although the stars' agents said they did not know of the news, their friends have indirectly confirmed their reconciliation.

"Andy doesn't treat me to a meal usually," said Dicky Cheung when responding to news reports on the couple having dinner together.

It was also reported that Dicky was the 'cupid' helping Andy to win back the heart of Sammi.

Sammi, when asked about her relationship with Andy, the singer said: "I'm not answering." But she did not deny it.

The magazine said only close friends of the couple knew of their wedding.

Andy told a press conference on Monday: "We are trying to be together again."

"It has been a long time (since we broken up)... we don't know what will happen."

The singer, however, did not say anything about the marriage speculations.

Andy and Sammi became good friends after joining the same recording company in 1988.

Their love sparked off after they sang the duet Do You Really Have Me In Your Heart.

Although they went gone separate ways after being together for 13 years, they remained close friends.
