A nude photo of Hong Kong actress Fala Chen has reportedly surfaced online recently.

The photo, which was uploaded on an online forum, showed Fala clad only in underwear. Her chest was masked digitally.

A local entertainment website suggested that the TVB actress is widely popular among her fans in Hong Kong and has been hailed as "the new generation sexy goddess".

The forum posting attracted great response from netizens, with many supporting the TVB actress, saying that the photo was a fake and that it had been digitally altered.

According to the report, one netizen had also apparently lodged a police report.

Seemingly unfazed about the news, the actress left a message on microblogging site Weibo yesterday saying, "Valentine's Day. I'm thankful. Love others, love yourself."

Fala's manager did not comment on the issue.
