Reverie launches Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

You can't fault us girls for loving our accessories. One big reason why we are so into jewellery has got to be the versatility that a standout piece can offer us in terms of making a sartorial statement.

And forget statement jewellery that say it with bling (alright, those with rocks that require you to bring along an entire armed escort are in another league altogether), because it's those one-of-a-kind creations that only handmade pieces can offer you.

Angelina Seow, the designer behind her own jewellery label Reverie, is inspired by a minimalist baroque aesthetic for her Spring Summer 2011 collection.

A whimsical interplay of suede, pearls and edgy metal pieces with pretty Japanese glass are the materials used in this range, and has strong whiffs of romanticism.

Angelina shares that her constant inspiration comes from art, film, architecture and cultures, with Paris and Tokyo being particular influences on her work.

You can rest assured that you won't run into another girl showing off the same piece as you anytime soon, as her pieces are limited - one to three pieces are available each time.

Reverie's Spring/Summer 2011 collection is priced from $109 - $299. Selected pieces can be found in the following boutiques: Colette at The Forum Shopping Mall, and Trixilini in Millenia Walk.
