Protect your skin from UV damage with Origins

Exposure to the sun's harmful rays can cause our skin to discolour and develop dark spots. This can leave our skin looking dull and irritated.

Origins's newest Brighter By Nature collection contains anti-oxidants, anti-irritants and brightening agents to help protect our skin from UV damage.

The Brighter by Nature High-potency brightening peel with fruit acids (pictured left) is a glycolic peel that promises to leave your skin smoother and more radiant.

The product promises to exfoliate your skin's dead surface cells without the redness, high cost and long recovery time associated with a professional chemical peel.

The product contains goji berry and pomegranate fruit acids with salicylic acid to improve the evenness of your skin tone. The japanese basil leaf extract helps to soothe your skin as you exfoliate.

Also try the Brighter By Nature SPF 50 PA+++ Brightening anti-stress UV face protector (pictured right). This product contains a blend of anti-irritants to intercept destructive enzymes that can cause discolouration of the skin.

The UV face protector is ideal for all face types and should be applied just before makeup.

If you're looking for a makeup base, Origins' Brighter By Nature SPF 30/PA+++ Brightening anti-stress compact foundation (pictured middle) claims to provide the greatest level of UVA defense available.

The soft and creamy powder foundation helps to absorb oil and minimize the look of pores. It also contains rosemary and burnet extracts to protect your skin against the damaging UV rays.

The compact foundation is offered in 5 shades specially developed for Asian skin. It is suitable for most skin types.

Available from February 2011 at all Origins counters in Isetan Scotts, Robinsons Raffles City, Robinsons The Centrepoint, Metro Paragon and Tangs VivoCity.
