Joe Ni, boyfriend of Hong Kong singer Vivian Chow, might have gotten himself into deeper trouble when he told reporters recently that he did not know the woman he was kissing last Saturday night.

The 44-year-old writer was photographed kissing and behaving intimately with a woman at Lan Kwai Fong, a popular nightspot in Hong Kong.

When quizzed by reporters, he told them that he "was too drunk" and that he "did not know who she was".

However, netizens have identified the woman as China-born, Hong Kong-based, undergraduate Miffty Zhang.

On her blog, she posted a photo of the both of them with captions mentioning that she had met "Big Brother Jo Ni".

According to online sources, Miffty also wrote on her blog that she thought Joe was "nice".

Apple Daily reported on earlier today that Vivian and Joe have ended their 20-year relationship.
