Loud snoring, body odour, language barrier and unwillingness to have sex are some of the reasons Singaporean couples ask for a divorce, reported Sin Chew Daily.
A divorce lawyer, known as Malini, told the daily of a husband who had difficulty living with his Vietnamese wife because of the language barrier.
"Eventually, he could not take it any more and decided to end the marriage," she said.
The daily said there was also a wife who had an affair with another man just to force her husband to divorce her because she could no longer stand him as he was a control freak.
"There was also a husband who kept complaining about the food his wife cooked and the two decided to go separate ways," the daily said.
