Love them or hate them?
by Razor TV

The mere mention of "China women" can set off strong emotions among Singaporeans.

But love them or hate them, they are here to stay and more of them are using dating agencies to find love here in Singapore.

readers' comments
Is it just me, or is the way the narrator pronounced "article" in "Straits Times article" really, really annoying?

Those Singaporean people in the video blog who spoke ill of China women are bunch of losers. Come to Sydney Australia and have a look. They are highly educated, many graduated from top universities. Many working for big organisations such as HSBC, Macquarie Bank, BHP Billiton, etc etc. The China women in Australia can speak English way better than Singaporean Chinese women and the Australian people accept them without demeaning them.

If this video blog was shown in Australia, those who were insulted by this vblog could press charges. By showing this vblog, its a great insult to chinese ancestry. Its a shame, just because those in the vblog had some unpleasant incident with a few chinese ladies from China, they stereotyped the entire country.

Love them or hate them is the title.

I love all of the ones who love English but worship Mandarin. There is a certain amount of "default" intelligence if a lady from the Motherland has mapped Mandarin to plausible English.

There is a paradox that those with inclinations towards bilingualism, maybe not the lookers that some desire too, are the most pleasant individuals around.

I even know some of the slight Russian looking PRC from Qingdao, and their "happiness" at being out of PRC, you could bottle up and sell. Yet they love their mum and dad and are still proud of being of the Chinese Nation and Race...

Why they want to show this video blog. I cannot understand.
Singapore chinese women not chinese??? So what are they? Portuguese?? There's shouldn't any distinction at all.
There is no difference between Singaporean chinese women and China chinese women. Chinese is chinese. Please be proud of your own race. Then what, the Singapore chinese ancestors came from where? they really can't accept reality.

Razor TV always show this kind of nonsense. Total waste of time and resources. Nothing of any substance.

I have written before about, and I still advocate, amending the Woman's Charter to make it a little fairer to men. Recently, it's been tweaked to make it even easier for women to squeeze their ex-husbands? Why? For what? Are women today that helpless? Or is the government still living in the past, absolutely out of touch with reality?

Unlike the illiterate Ah Sohs of yesteryears who found themselves clutching a dozen kids, going from house to house to wash and iron other people's laundry, today's women are well-educated and more than able to earn their own keeps. They know how to use the IT to lodge complaints to the Family Court, but allege that they are unable to earn a decent income? Pooh! Any self-respecting woman would not never take a man's hard earned money just because of a divorce. And the governent should not have .....
