For his latest Haute Couture collection, Elie Saab compared his models to porcelain dolls, with regard to their fresh-faced complexions and youthful hairstyles.
This fragility was evident in his subtly coloured collection which brought to mind the works of romantic artists, such as Botticelli.
As always, the Lebanese designer put a strong emphasis on the silhouette- who for Summer 2010 has proposed short cocktail dresses and long evening dresses, embroidered entirely with sequins and flowers and tailored in nude tones.
