Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, the duo behind Valentino, opted this season for a contemporary couture.

Short dresses and body-hugging trouser suits were made out of layered bands of chiffon and organza in vibrant and powdery tones.

This glamorous collection was extremely light and seemed to have been modelled on a virtual Eden- as shown through a floral dress covered in chiffon petals in beige and ochre tones and an insect dress clad with red and pearly shagreen leather.
