A new direction for Matthew Williamson, whose flowery hippy chic gave way to a more structured and graphic look. The collection stood out with shimmering gold and silver items, with additional splashes of florescent yellow and orange.
The mirror mosaics on the tops didn’t go un-noticed either. The sexily draped mini dresses with geometric slashes allowed us to catch a glimpse of skin.
The shoulders were worked with sequined padding. Matthew Williamson, who chose to celebrate 25 years of London Fashion Week by showing his collection in the country that launched him into the public eye, succeeded in demonstrating that today he is certainly one of the fashion greats!
