ITALY, Milan - Exaggerated shoulders were a big trend on the catwalks of Milan, and the Fendi fashion show was no exception to the rule. Karl Lagerfeld padded shoulders with fur, the signature material of the Italian fashion house. Leather was also heavily used in the collection – in trousers, leggings and in the form of gaiters. Short, felt skirts were straight cut and teamed with little belted jackets and crocodile skin camisoles. Leather corseted bustiers were worn over wool and velvet panelled dresses. In terms of accessories, Silvia Fendi re-released the cult “Peekaboo” bag.
