ITALY, Milan - It was Peter Dundas’ first collection for Pucci. Following on from the likes of Christian Lacroix and Matthew Williamson, it was the young Norwegian designer, who has recently worked for Emanuel Ungaro’s turn to sit in the driver’s seat of the famous Italian fashion house. There was a new energy and new approach to the prints in the collection, all of which made reference to the past, especially to Palio’s collection from 1957, on the emblematic Capri trousers of the fashion house. A new Pucci girl was presented, who dares to wear t-shirt tunics, diamanté jeans, sexy bustier dresses with thigh-high boots, all in autumnal shades.
