Once a year, Chanel shows of the work of the fashion house's artisans. Craft workers specialising in feathers, boots and embroideries showed off their talents in a fashion show destined for Moscow – a city that was particularly close to Mademoiselle's Chanel's heart – under the direction of Karl Lagerfeld.

It was to the theatre Ranelagh in Paris that Chanel invited its prestigious guests, faithful Chanel fans such as Diane Kruger, to the annual fashion show which highlights the fashion houses brought by famous label “des deux C.” 

Lemarié, Lesage, Massato, Desrues, Michel, Goossens and Guillet were amongst those representing French handcraft, shown on clothes with a Russian theme entitled Paris-Moscow.
