It was a trip to the Orient with the latest Louis Vuitton Collection. Marc Jacobs takes us, through golden curtains, to stuffed tigers and black marble podiums in an extravagant palace where queens play at who is the most beautiful amongst them.

Chinese tailored pyjamas and dresses with high slits, transparent tops and long skirts, jumpsuits and lace adorned with the LV acronym. The jacket embroidered with flowers were paired with shorts, the colours were veering on the extreme, from orange to purple, fading from yellow to blue lamé, up until a zebra print. Gems and sequins were scattered everywhere, on every surface.

Everything was magnified to make the real seem imaginary, and the kitsch become trendy but all in the manner of Louis Vuitton, that is to say extreme and luxurious.
