At least Sharel and hubby are spending their Dollars. Far better than leaving their cash in very badly-administered Private Client bank accounts which will be trimmed and skimmed by foreign MNCs, where applicable.

life's just too hard :)....we shldnt begrudge some of the wealthy who got to where they are bcos of hard work....but $800K ensemble?....alittle too hard to stomach :)

It is wonderful to learn of the 7-hr this socialite spent to prepare for a ball.
I am sure Singaporeans and all readers are enlightened and inspired to spend 7-hr the next time they have to go for the long awaited interview or to the various institutions that mete out social security or hardship grant or a pack of race and a can of milo or a bowl of rice or whatever!
