Love was in the air on the auspicious date of 20-09-2009 as some 168 couples said "I do" in the lush green settings of the Singapore Botanic Gardens on Sunday.
This was Singapore's first ever mass wedding solemnisation event held in conjunction with the Garden's 105th anniversary celebrations.
The 168 couples took turns to have their weddings solemnised at 21 different locations in the gardens.
Friends and family wrote their well wishes for couples and hung them on a 'Tree of Blessing'.
The day ended with a mass celebration at the main grandstand as invited guests cheered the newly-weds on as they paraded around the Symphony Lake, and received certificates and a memento for tying the knot.
