They are pretty, young, and really want to save the earth. Miss Earth Singapore 2009 is a beauty pageant that wants its contestants to not only look good, but have a passion for the environment.
The swimsuit round, which was held at The Bellini Grande in Clarke Quay last Saturday, saw 13 young women strut their stuff to vie for the crown that will see them become the next Miss Earth Singapore, a spokesperson to raise awareness on current environmental crises.
And instead of wearing designer ballgowns, the 13 girls will be tasked to re-use their own outfits in a segment called "Redesigned Outfit" to showcase their own outfit and creativity in using resources in the finale round on September 17, 2009.
Diva attended the swimsuit segment last week, and we have the pictures here!
