Singer Kenji Wu goes public with casino king's 'prettiest daughter'

Hong Kong - Taiwan singer Kenji Wu and Laurinda Ho, daughter of Macau gambling magnate Stanley Ho, have gone public with their rumoured two-year romance, say newspapers.

After Wu, 34, performed at a charity show last Saturday in Hong Kong, he joined Laurinda, 22, for a crab supper, said Oriental Daily News.

When he arrived at the eatery and photographers started snapping away, his girlfriend sprang up to flee, said the report. But he smiled, tapped her on the shoulder and posed next to her for the reporters.

Apple Daily said he was praised by his girlfriend's mother Ina Chan, who attended his performance on Saturday. She shook his hand and they had their photo taken together, and when she was asked what she thought of her daughter's boyfriend, she said: "Not bad."

Stanley Ho's family includes four wives and at least 17 children.

The singer, asked about his potential in-laws, said: "The third missus is beautiful and kind, and the casino king is humorous."

He has been linked to Laurinda since 2011, when he was reported to have driven her to Taiwan's Yangmingshan National Park for a romantic date.
