Singapore - Torturous, degrading and ridiculous are just some of the words thrown out by Singaporeans at the sight of a girl who sat on the back of a guy squatting down while waiting for the train.
The picture of the 'boyfriend stool', which was taken by a netizen at a Guangzhou subway station last Wednesday (Sep 11), has sparked a debate of how far a guy should and would go to please his girlfriend.
Most Singaporeans that RazorTV spoke to gave a thumbs down to the couple's behaviour in public, and said they would not do it.
Although some people felt the boyfriend was being sweet, more felt that the he was getting bullied.
One guy echoed the views of the majority when he said: "(It's) quite ridiculous lah. There are stools all around (so) of all places, why must she sit on him?"
