Is there a new power couple in town? Ella is what we're dubbing the pairing of actor Elvin Ng and local model Sheila Sim.
They are not only good-looking and at the top of their respective fields, they happen to really like each other as well.
When interviewed, both were initially reluctant to dish on each other.
It was only after repeated prodding that they relented and revealed their mutual affection.
Sparks flew between the co-stars on the set of Channel 8 drama I'm In Charge in January.
After filming wrapped in April, Sim sent Ng a message that sealed their blossoming friendship.
It said: "Elvin, please don't run away from me and retreat into your own world."
Ng, 32, was blown away by his leading lady's desire to break down his walls and he did as he was asked.
The pair now have stimulating conversations over WhatsApp and admitted that they have found a connection with each other.
Sim, 29, who was chosen as skincare brand SK-II's first Singaporean ambassador, told The New Paper: "Elvin's a really good catch.
"He has nice eyes, a nice voice, a pretty smile and he's very sweet. The chemistry between us is so strong, we can tell each other anything.
"I have told him that when I first met him I was starstruck as he's so handsome and tall. He is very dateable."
To that, Ng replied in a separate interview: "I really like Sheila. She told me she wants to get married by 30 and that's in a year.
"I have told her that I will consider being her boyfriend if she chases me hard enough.
"She has made me open up. I used to be very reserved and would think twice about saying anything.
"Nowadays, I just say whatever comes to mind, without fear of judgment.
"For example, at the Star Awards when reporters asked me if I dialled my own hotline number, I told them that when I was free I would keep calling my own number repeatedly.
"When asked what was my lucky charm, I said that I prayed to every god out there.
"Sheila is someone with tons of X-factor. After getting to know her better, she looks even prettier to me."
Ng recounted how in a span of four months, Sim has made him let go of his inhibitions.
