Model Alexandra Sereda, 27, was beaten up so badly by her Russian millionaire boyfriend, Pavel Ushanov, that she was barely recognisable after the attack.

According to reports by the Daily Mail and other media sites, the savage attack came after Sereda broke off her two-year relationship with the telecommunications mogul.

The model told the media from her hospital bed that she was leaving for work at 7am when the doorbell rang, "and then I heard his voice".

"I could hear that he sounded annoyed and I didn't want to open the door, but he obviously wasn't going away so then I did and without saying anything he just went inside and punched me in the head," Daily Mail reported her as saying.

Ushanov brutally kicked and punched her for 10 minutes, according to Sereda.

When she screamed in terror that he was going to kill her, he replied: "Good, that's what I want."

Sereda escaped after she managed to open the door and run away.

After she was admitted to hospital, Sereda said she could hardly recognise pictures taken of herself in the aftermath of the brutal attack.

Said the model: "When I looked at the pictures of myself...I looked like a zombie from a horror movie."

According to police, Ushanov, 33, who is CEO of Devino Telecom, is currently on the run and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
