Vera Wang's wedding dress curse?

Famous designer Vera Wang and her husband Arthur Becker have recently announced that they are going their separate ways, just two weeks after their 23rd wedding anniversary. Although the couple has declined to comment on their breakup, it was reported that it was a mutual and amicable separation.

This announcement came after the highly publicised separation of Hollywood star couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Marriages among Hollywood celebrities are notoriously known to be short-lived, and news of breakups are aplenty.

It is interesting to note however, that quite a number of celebrities who have donned Wang's wedding dresses down the aisle seem to have headed towards Splitsville as well.

The list includes celebrities like Heidi Klum, Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, and so on, all of whom wore Wang's beautiful wedding gowns on their special day. Some, like Jennifer Lopez, are such huge fans of her wedding dresses that they wore them for subsequent weddings after previous marriages failed.

To be fair, there are many other Vera Wang brides who are still married to their partners. Khloe Kardashian, Ivanka Trump, Chelsea Clinton and even local celeb Fann Wong currently still live in marital bliss.

Curse, or not, perhaps we'll find out soon.

That's the downside of having celebrities as clients.

It appears that the write of this article bears a personal grudge against Vera Wang. How else can you explain such an inane assertion.

Some competitors want to put her out of business by implying that her gown is jinxed?

Let's put it this way, not be superstitious, as divorces happen everywhere, regardless of who is the gown's designer.

However, there are so many great designs/designers everywhere, so what's so special about her designs? Just look at all these pictures/designs, I really don't find them any different from other wedding gowns.(if you can afford, you get any designs you want)

Couples fight over anything when there's no more 'I Love You'. Simple as that.

So it's better to wear 'Nude' on wedding day.

Guaranteed you will be together forever!

i always hear singapore women like to say this - "shore-rei" ( sorry ) ..many many times over the course of conversation, trying hard to prove she's very civilised and cultured.

others overused phrases like "welllllll ..." ..."oh" ...."erm" .....
