This runway model is a runaway success, leagues ahead of her nearest rivals.
Forbes magazine has reported that Gisele Bundchen is the highest-paid model in the world with an earnings of a cool US$45 million (S$57 million).
The annual list, which was released on Thursday, covered models’ earnings from May last year to May this year.
The top 10 in the list had combined earnings of about US$100 million, New York Post reported.
The 31-year-old Brazilian bombshell’s earnings come from her contracts with Versace, Esprit and Pantene.

A distant second is British supermodel Kate Moss, 38, with estimated earnings of US$9.2 million, driven by lucrative deals with Topshop, Rimmel and Mango.
Rounding out the top trio is Russian Natalia Vodianova with US$8.6million. The 30-year-old mother of three is the face of perfume campaigns for Calvin Klein and Guerlain, and also designs her own clothing line.
