Joyful bride Ella Chen tears up on her big day

The much-anticipated day for Ella Chen and Alvin Lai has finally arrived.

With the blessings of her closest friends and loved ones, S.H.E's Ella, 31, finally said 'I do' to Alvin, 36, a Malaysian whom she has dated for one and a half years.

Her wedding at Le Méridien Taipei was a star-studded affair, with the who's who of the showbiz world turning up.

Among them are Matilda Tao and actor husband Li Liren, Barbie Hsu, Fish Leung and hubby Tony Chiu, Yoga Lin, Dylan Kuo, JJ Lin, Valen Hsu and of course, Ella's best friends and fellow S.H.E members Selina Jen and Hebe Tien.

Hebe and Sodagreen frontman Wu Tsing-Fong were the maid-in-honour and best man at the wedding, which was hosted by Ah-Ken and Nado. They hosted Selina's wedding as well last year.

The wedding was not open to media, and guests were advised not to broadcast the event on Weibo and Facebook.

But ever the understanding celebrity, Ella and her groom still held a session with the media prior to the wedding dinner.

When asked whether she would be moved to tears later, Ella teared up on the spot and quickly turned around to hide her tears.

Despite shedding tears, Ella, being her usual jovial self, was reported to have entertained the guests at the wedding dinner by dirty dancing with her other-half in front of the guests, sending everyone into a frenzy.

"My husband is the best!" gushed the bride as she threw the bouquet of flowers to the girls.

Golfer Yani Tseng was the lucky one who caught the bridal bouquet. She was snapped posing with it triumphantly, together with the wedding couple.

I think she is ok except the "sexy dance" where her husband seems to be pressing his hands on her breasts to show audience its a sexy dance.

Not sure why they want to do this?
